Between Ark, BotW and PUBG, I think people have enough survival games to choose from. Also, NOBODY asked for having even less inventory space, realism or not.

The irony here is that, at least in case of the Switch, a warranty would actually help if you end up with a deformed unit, or some other type of malfunction that used to show up at launch.
Technically-speaking, someone over on TAY has already pointed out the forced Switch bundle thing back in March, so both reddit and Kotaku are late to the party on this one. If anything, this story only confirms that Gamestop hasn’t changed their behavior for well over six months.
I had a few PS1 disks with scratches, but those were from rental stores (remember those?). But even worse were the hickups I had with my PS2.
This! All we want are non-blurry character sprites. On smartphones I don’t mind because of the low resolution, but on tablets and computers via Steam I want some crisp visuals.
Not only that, but every new multiplayer game is being turned into the next big esports game as well. It’s either that or another F2P/loot crate game, or another MMO-esque game like The Divison.
I agree with the whole art part, that it does take talent to create some appealing low-poly, low-resolution art that looks good no matter if played on an old CTR or on 1080p via emulator.
As someone who’s never been into handheld gaming, but is not tempted to buy a 3DS because of Zelda and the new Metroid, should I pick the New 2DS or New 3DS? Is the 3D effect worth experiencing at least once?
They usually upload every game run on YouTube, just not immediately. Give them a few days.
It’s an inside joke about Super Metroid. At the very end of the game, you have the choice of saving the animals which are trapped in a room, or leave them behind and save a few seconds.
I already bought Bayonetta 1&2 for Wii U, but for those who’ve skipped that console and bought a Switch instead, that will make their day.
Agreed. The website convert the times to each user’s local timezone, so it’s always better to check out that over a static image you may have to convert the times for yourself.
Kotaku posts something every time the event starts, and points out a few highlights during the marathon. Over on Talk Amongst Yourselves, I always post a reminder in advance like this one.
Duh, of course it won’t get DLC. There was no season pass sold at the game’s release.
Coincidentially enough, I traded-in Final Fantasy XV for Mass Effect Andromeda.
I regret nothing.
There, I fixed the title for you.
Not bad for a humble American event. Let me know once you’ve passed the 200.000 mark, then we can share some war stories together.
I’m watching the gameplay demonstration right now. Looks like it’s a turn-based combat system like X-Com, complete with destructible cover and interception fire.
Agreed. There’s nothing wrong with creating a console MMO of their own, but between this and Mass Effect’s premature death, there’s nothing that even resembles an RPG of any kind. I guess Dragon Age remains our only hope at this point.
It’s not about Secret of Mana, it’s about its sequel Seiken Densetsu 3. It has stuff like day and night cycle and certain quests can only be done at certain times (at least I’ve read something like that a long time ago).
It’s not as straightforward as the other games, hence the 48-page manual.
