Thanks for the info! Sounds like they did their best given what they had available. The low-res backgrounds will suck, but if combat is that much more faster then it’s a worthy trade-off.

I think we did got out our Starcraft: Ghost game in the end, but just under a different name. It’s called Metal Gear Solid V.

Please define “widescreen”. Last time I played the game (with the then-latest patch), I could play with an 16:9 aspect ratio resolution just fine.

You could give Starcraft II a try. It does have a custom map browser (called “Arcade” in the top menu), and as far as I know there is no bot system for this game.
