What, if any, refurbishment was needed or is needed prior to reusing? While the space shuttle was “reusable” it had costly refurbishment after each mission which never allowed it to be affordable reusable.

This seems like an awful idea, considering that lithium battery fires can not be put out by the fire agents used in the cargo holds of aircraft. So naturally let’s put more of them down there.

I’d still argue flying is too cheap. Yea, the food in the airport is expensive, but it is still cheaper to fly long distances to drive most the time. Plus it saves time adding additional value.

For liability reasons they had to investigate it, since these things are dangerous. You wouldn’t believe the ridiculous things people do on airplanes that crews have to deal with. Acting like you have a banned device that could cause harm to people and property isn’t something any crew will take lightly.
