Seems like renting one during those handful of times you really need one would be better.

Pretty much like the general state of affairs in this country atm.
$31k is ND2 Miata RF money (i think). I suppose if you really have a thing for a straight 6 go for it but I’d probably go for the miata.
It’s a shit move on these dealers but ultimately the buyer has the choice to “take it or leave it”. Smart thing would be to “leave it” but the dealer knows that there’s going to be another guy lined up right behind to “take it” directly up the ass. We live in a world of instant gratification; gotta have it now no…
Now I see why they’re getting rid of analog in favor of digital in cars.
I’d go TSX sportwagon since he already loves the Accord and the TSX is basically an Accord with an Acura badge. It didn’t come with a manual but the sedan counterpart did, he wants to mod it anyway and what’s better than a transmission swap.
This has shaped up to be a great trek and I enjoyed living vicariously through your stories. Kudos and well lets say if/when you get married yourself you’ll look back through all this and enjoyed it and have no regrets.
VW Corrado. I loved these growing up. A nice drivers car and looked good too.
Drop in a bedpan and this is perfect for when the mother in law comes to visit.
Subaru Legacy. I see lots of other Subarus but I haven’t seen the normal Legacy at all since its last refresh. I thought it was already quietly discontinued only to find it still listed in the Subaru website while looking for news about the new WRX.
If I were Mazda I would drop that I6 and RWD drivetrain into something like a CX9 first and see if sticks and perks up sales. If it does, great put it into a new 6 or work that partnership with Toyota and have them spread it around. I fear that if the first thing they do is intro a new 6 sedan, that thing would go…
To be fair, the story mentions that the house was built by Samuel Lincoln, not Benjamin Lincoln. And if you zoom into the plaque on the left side of the front of the house, it mentions Samuel Lincoln.
Yes absolutely. Makes you wonder though if we take for granted how many people would take advantage of that or even know that was a possibility.
This particular dealer can get away with this probably because NH does not charge sales tax. So NH residents are saving a good chunk there which makes this markup comparable to other places where you do have to pay taxes.
I don’t know if things have changed in the past few years but take a long hard look about whether you can live with the Subaru interior. I couldn’t get over how crappy the materials and finish were on the crosstrek and outback I tested.
If you can score an NC1 for $5k that would be ideal. More modern with better safety I would think. I live in the northeast and NCs are double that for a decent one. I’ve already had 2 offers for my stock NA for $8 and $8.5k. It’s looney toons right now.
I would agree aside for 2 things. A decent one is now hard to find at under $5k depending on your region. I have an NA I picked up for 5k last fall and it would be harder to find that today. Maybe a rough NB or rustier NA would be possible. I would not feel safe having my son in a small car where everyone in a high…
With computer system being more prevalent I think this is the hangup. Software intellectual property is pretty well defined in the US, i.e. you don’t buy it in most cases, you license it.
1st: With Mazda shifting focus to EVs I hope this does not kill off the straight 6 reportedly in the works and prematurely kill off the rotary range extender. With the 6 recently killed, other than the CX9 I don’t know where else this new engine could fit in. It’s a sad thought. I would love to see a new…
