I think you guys might all be misreading the situation. Money? Sure. Other material possessions? Of course. But you’re going to have to shoot me before I hand you the keys while my kids are in the car.

I said she went to the police station, I meant NOW, like recently (I didn’t say 16 years ago), and speculated they told her they can take the report but nothing will happen. Like I said, I worded it poorly.

The linked story said she went to police and filed a police report. But if it’s a silly assumption, that’s cool. I worded it poorly.

I know!

Haha, what? That’s the factual part. I was only speculating on motive and how TMZ got the story.

Because it’s Foxx’s lawyer making that point, she wants to not only let the press know that no legal proceedings can be brought against Foxx, but I would also assume to dissuade anyone else from coming forward if their hope is criminal proceedings. Pretty standard Defense Attorney speak.

Exactly. Things will go on the same IF Drake lets it go. You got posterized , just move it along, because the worst thing that could happen now is to release the response (if there even is one), especially after this J. Prince nonsense. Call it a day, because the only career that can suffer now is Drake’s, not Pusha.

I...can’t disagree. I am guilty of doublethink right now. The beats on the first tracks of Daytona...I dunno, they’re pretty tight...

True dat. I am not even disagreeing! I think everything you wrote and RuckFoseMcGowan is true!

My god, THAT’S THE POINT, lol! IT DOESN’T MATTER if YOU think he has no rhymes, it doesn’t matter that Pusha T says he has no rhymes, because he sells so much that it trumps that opinion. Clearly enough people like Drake that it doesn’t matter.

Pusha is good, but let’s stop making him and Clipse goddamn Eric B and Rakim. People make like just because he drops out and don’t release stuff for awhile that he’s working on some goddamn masterpiece. Daytona (from the first few tracks) is not a masterpiece. It’s good, though!

“Who can trust a cop who don’t take money?”

I think Snyder truly loves comics. I don’t think it’s a stretch to think his visual style is a direct result of his love for them. But is it just form for form’s sake? Is it soulless? I mean it’s hard to argue that the DC films hit on all cylinders.

You see, now THAT is something I could get behind. If anything, there are two things going on in Watchmen: “what” he is saying and “how” he is saying it, and it’s easy for anyone to casually reference one or the other, and I have no desire on being a pedant.

Exactly, I know you’re an old head like me. But I completely disagree. Not once when we were buying the comic, the single issues, did we think “Do you know this comic book is about comic books?” Haha that was a level of self-reflexiveness that not even Moore possesses. I mean he wanted to use the Charlton characters

Jesus Christ, I’m old. WATCHMEN IS NOT A COMIC ABOUT COMICS, lol. Yes, Moore is on record saying that the medium itself cannot be adapted, and sure, for the most part he’s right. Because you have to interweave the Pirate comic, the book forwards and blurbs of Mason...it really can’t be shown solely as a movie.

I’m late to star: I will only refer to him as Horny Karl Marx (or aka Horny Karl Marx) from now on, that is sheer gold!

Once you pass your ordinance, give yourself one last pat on the back and then move on to something of consequence, please.

You should add “Sad!” to the end of your comment.

I actually like the show more than my kid, which is always maddening, lol.
