C'mon, no mention of Megaforce? One of my favorite turkeys of all time. I even attempted to join the Megaforce fan club, but I never received the promised items!

The other flaw in his ring theory, is that Lucas clearly has ripped off himself. It doesn't make him a genius, it makes him a one-trick pony who doesn't have that many visual ideas. All I can say is thank goodness for the collaboration of invention that occurred with Star Wars, literally with people inventing the

I don't know what else to say, but the theory is really quite stupid. Just taking for example AOTC and ESB, those movies are incomparable, and have absolutely nothing to do with each other. Unless I missed the giant Tick-Cow wandering around in the snow, or Leia wearing leather bondage gear.

Wait, no mention of Galactica 1980? He's dressed like a clown driving around with his wife (played by Dark Shadows' Lara Parker) and they pick up a Cylon thinking he's going to the same costume party that they are.

Marvel seems to have just slapped their logo on the DC Playbook: i.e. we will do anything for free press.

Wow, they already reached the stage where they attempt to be relevant again by complaining about a politician to get back in the news? Guess they're done.

I think this is pretty transparently a scheme to try to sync up the comics and the cinematic universe. Despite the success of the movies, there hasn't been a corresponding bump in comics readership. If the comics and the movies look more like each other, maybe there's a chance that the comics sales can move along in

Zero dollars?

The difference between this and the Phantom Menace trailer was that 99% of the fans who saw the Phantom Menace trailer and were extremely excited to see the movie. The JJWars trailer makes me lower my expectations even further, which could well be the goal. Some of the elements just see off — dumb voice over, weird

Hail Eris

Alex Jones is much funnier than Bill Hicks was.

It's not ridiculous to stick with 50 years of consistency. Heck, Capaldi's Doctor is a lot like Hartnell's. A gender switch is a pander to fanwank and that's all it is.

I don't think 50 years of continuity in a show is arbitrary. At this point, Moffat's actions are much more arbitrary.

I think Russell T Davies already covered that Last Of The Timelords.

Well, I was enjoying things pretty much up until the Missy reveal. Now all of the loonies who want a female Doctor Who are going to be leaking out of the woodwork. Moffat has delivered some fanwank over the years, but this is pretty much an eleven on the wank scale. Just when I thought nobody could do worse than

The whole Civil War thing sucked ass. I once heard a quote that said something like "Superhero movies tend to make the same mistakes comics did, but much much faster and for much much more money" Certainly seems to be the case.

Hehe, how about Gimmie A Barack? I'd watch that sitcom. Too bad nobody has the guts to parody him.

I feel like this reviewer has fallen too hard for Moffat's trickery with Clara. All of the stuff you name as reclaiming her is really just window dressing to hide the fact that she's turned into the worst kind of Mary Sue. (considering she is now integrated into the Doctor's entire history, she might be the ultimate

Should have included the Tron board game. It was pretty darned cool.

Capaldi was impressive. The script was too full of Moffatisms (Jokes and endless double entendre) Clara had some good stuff as well. I'm kinda sick of the Vastra scooby gang. I think mostly it's Vastra's condescension towards…everybody. the holier-than-thou act wore thin a few appearances ago. I agree with a
