I really think/hope the C8 will eventually get a gated manual option. I remember the first year or two of the Challenger didn’t get one. Know someone that owns an absurd amount of Mopars. He has a 2008(1st year) with a T56 that he paid someone to put in it.

You talking about driving around to 15 different atm’s makes me remember how different life was. How inter-agency communication wasn’t as common as it is now. And also how easy it is to become part of the system.

The difference in size between a Tacoma and any half ton is negligible. Go with a half ton and don’t regret buying 7/8ths the truck with only half the towing capacity.

I agree, it’s multiple forces driving bigger wheels and tires. Horsepower wars are also driving bigger brakes and thus bigger wheels. A couple of years ago I thought 20 inch wheels on a pickup were HUGE and ungainly. I now own a leveled f350 with 20 inch wheels, yet have miles sidewall.

Have you driven the mid engine corvette yet? I haven’t, but I’d give it a chance over other mid engine supercars/hyper cars because it LOOKS fun!
