The SEC is actually a really bad conference. There’s a couple of good teams at the top, and everyone beats up on the weakest non-confernece schedules they can muster.

I hope not. Harvard gave us Larry Scott and Woodie Dixon.
Used to live there. Can confirm that they have more than their fair share of crazies. If I didn’t still have family on Oahu, I’d probably avoid it entirely.
You should look up the definition of “Capital Project” and then remember that is the county that owns the stadium. AND The funds were already budgeted for stadium repairs out of a fund from a Seattle Hotel/Motel tax. The County Council wanted to divert funds at their discretion. The Mariners weren’t asking for new…
Pretty sure the King County Council screamed, “TAKE BACKSIES!!!!!” to money that was already in their own budget for stadium repairs. This isn’t a case of the Mariners trying to hold the region hostage. The stadium is already paid for.
Good point. I think the Honda Ridgeline shares the same platform as the Odyssey. But if the VW is slightly smaller, labeling it a CUV with an extendable bed may be most accurate.
Its a minivan with an extendable bed. Nothing more.
I fixed the headline for you!
Chevrolets estimate how many miles to empty and I believe that the physical fuel gauge is tied to that. Towing a new trailer from my house to the nearest septic dumping station, I had the computer and needle drop from a quarter tank with estimated 60+ miles to go to running out of gas 7 miles down the road.
#1 is literally Bud Seligs’ fault. Took the Pilots after one season, moved them to his hometown. Gave the team to his daughter so he could move them to the NL and appoint himself commissioner. Then strong-armed owners into moving one of the oldest NL teams(Astros/Colt 45s) to the AL
Captain America, Superman, DudeRudy
No surprises there. Troy needs to go to rehab. Joe Buck has an ego bigger than his bald spot.
Baseball scouts often fall into the same traps that people who scout NFL QBs do. Is he tall, is he handsome, is he a good athlete? Until they stop falling over themselves over size and potential, we will see more Judge’s than Altuve’s.
He also did an article several years ago, telling the entire story about the car and his brother.
Idle is where they consume a ton of fuel relative to the power output. My old RX2 would get north of 40 mpg at 75 mph.
I can’t place all of the blame on the owners group. Much of the blame belongs to the players and the players union. By negotiating a cap on rookie salaries, they effectively forced many journeyman players out of the league by making fresh out of college talent cheaper.
Public transit is a great thing, when its designed to be mass transit. The seattle monorail was part of the World’s fair exhibition in the 1960s. Its currently a glorified tourist trap. The Chris Hansen deal, happens to be where I-5 and I-90 meet, as well as a major light rail hub.
Unfortunately, what you’ve reported as a good deal is actually far from it. You should investigate how this deal came to be. And how many more hundreds of millions it’s going to cost taxpayers than the deal Chris Hansen offered.
The talking point is that they want you to wait in line for hours for the old monorail that doesn’t go anywhere. Conveniently, one of the Oak View Group investors owns it(and is also the Prez or VP at the Port of Seattle). Hence, the huge fight against Chris Hansen and a stadium(100% privately funded) in Sodo.
The Sodo Arena Deal was a much better deal. Chris Hansen got screwed because he wouldn’t grease any palms. A person could write an entire novel about the corruption in the city in regards to the Sonics, Clay Bennet(fuck that guy), David Stern, Key Arena, Mayor/Pedophile Eddie Murray(Peddie Eddie), City Council, etc.
