I think the point is to show how unfufilling those are in the long run, at least for a character like Don. Back in season 1-2 all we wanted for Don was for him to break free of this "family" illusion he had created for himself and, well, fuck up a storm.

A lot of the interviewees reoccur. They don't go out and interview a new set of people for every episode. I think the stand-up and street interview segments are filmed in 2-3 chunks. (You can tell by her outfits.) They just go through a lot of topics.

She's given a couple of great speeches. Or at least speeches that were well-received. Not to mention her TV interview last year.
