Maybe it’s just me, but if I lost my arm, I’d go back and look for it. Start with the last place I remember having it and just sort of walk through it. Maybe put up some lost and found posters. Check Craigslist.

That is some original thinking and true gear head knowledge. Props to you sir or madam!

This man needs a car with stunning performance and gorgeous looks. He needs a BMW M6 Gran Coupe in San Merino Blue

I’m definitely not a fan of the styling. The M6 Gran Coupe of the same era is far better looking (in my opinion). Especially the front end, it looks like someone took a photo and squashed the aspect ratio to flatten it.

Mercedes have been pretty reliable, except for the C class from 1998 to about 2005. Avoid Airmatic suspension and you’re fine. The indy shop I go to services a ton of 100K+ examples and quite a few 200K+ 90's E class cars. You just have to be religious on maintenance, like any German car.

Bitcoin is like the stock market?

why can’t you progressives have that attitude when it comes to halting the flow of illegal immigration?

Are those audio controls in the rear? Nice touch, but given VAG’s vaunted reputation of making electricals out of tinsel and good intentions, that complicated bit is just....hilarious.

Doesn’t compare to the wonderful stories here, but for me it was going to an Indy car race at Laguna Seca in the late 80s with my next door neighbor and a few of his friends. We took his Suburban, and knowing we’d be stuck in traffic for hours on end, we put a big tub of ice and a keg of beer in the back.

The one time tariffs make sense is to build up a nascent domestic industry. Brazil successfully did it to create a domestic car manufacturing industry, because they knew their market was big enough.
China is doing the same thing. They’d be fools not to.

Not a ponzi scheme?

Give everyone with a faulty Takata airbag a free vehicle to use while it takes a year or two for replacement parts to arrive, due to the volume.
Make the automaker liable for the owner not bringing the vehicle in for repair.
Do you have any idea what they would have to charge for a new car to cover these costs?

Setting my alarm for 25 years.
Oh, wait, it’s an Audi, it won’t be running in 5 years.

There is a correlation between the popular and EC vote. It just happens to be at the state level.

I feel like we’re getting a bad rap here. We just want some snacks, maybe a nice pic-a-nic basket.

Way to miss the point. What part of “pre-internet” did you not understand?

Has he ever even had a real job? One where she would face questions by upper management?

I use a company that resells AT&T fiber. $50 a month for 18 mbps, speed is consistent (very important to me), low latency, never drops a VPN or RDS connection, only two outages in over a year. So much better than Comcast, which at least weekly slowed to a crawl (usually in the middle of the night, I guess they thought

Great car until you have to do any service. Fuel pump? Remove engine. Change spark plugs? Remove engine.
In fairness, with a lift an some experience you can have that engine out in 90 minutes (according to a guy I know that used to own one). But still.

The right penalty is a few years of probation and heavy fines. Let them be among their friends for the next few years, constantly tested for drugs and alcohol, having to hand over a big chunk of every paycheck or they violate and get locked up.
