Three things:

But the cost of that automation will continue to drop. Reducing the minimum wage (we’ve cut it by 40% in real terms in the past 45 years) only delays that, meanwhile it slows economic growth - putting money in the hands of the poorest workers means it is high velocity.

Find which rows have an auxiliary power generator under them.
When it kicks in it will feel like someone kicked your seat (a woman sitting in front of me, at the end of a flight, accused me of kicking her seat for this very reason).

So we have a lousy system that doesn’t work, and the answer is MOAR ENFORCEMENT.

My current car gets 16 city, 22 highway, and 12 when I hit the sport button.
Fortunately I don’t use it to commute.

There may have been some brand/logo on her shirt, which is a no-no. Can’t look like you’re endorsing some company or that what you’re saying is approved by them.

It’s also possible he couldn’t write the tickets. Here in Florida, an officer is authorized to write tickets in the county he or she patrols in (or two counties if it crosses a line). The citation books are tied to the officer, and if a ticket comes in bearing a citation number from a jurisdiction that officer is not

A buddy who is a cop told me cops love anyone in the medical field. I tried it once (speeding, expired reg, during morning rush hour) - told the cop I was on my way to a job at such and such hospital, and my boss was upset if I was even five minutes late.

Bag gets passed around and when the cop gets it back, there’s a hole in the bag.
