I see everyone saying “use the VIN”. Is the VIN even on this thing? Wouldn’t it be stamped on the frame and perhaps the motor? How does that work on an abandoned car title ?

If your taste runs to rare, how about an America luxury sedan with a manual transmission: Behold, the 2014 Ford Taurus Limited. Nice interior, all the toys, this one has 42K on the clock and is just under $15K
Buy a pint of booze on the way to the airport. Drink it in the airport before going through security.
Try to find a trade-in at a competing brand dealership. A BMW dealer doesn’t want a Mercedes on their lot for long, so the sales staff has a short window to sell it or it goes to auction.
My first street bike, I got home from the first weekend trip. Washed it, went over every inch to remove dead bugs, and applied Armor All to the tires.

Owned one. Boughr it in 2011 with 65K miles. Sold it in 2014 with 115K miles. So fun, such a money pit.

Minivans are awesome. You’re sitting so far forward, not too low and not too high, the turning wheels are closer to the front of the vehicle. All of the interior space is usable. Visibility is excellent.
I had one as a rental for three weeks. Loved it. Drove around Miami with rap blaring from the stereo, windows down, middle aged white nerdy guy. Somehow seemed the right way to enjoy it.
I’ve tested top speed on every motorcycle I’ve owned, except one. Honda CBR1100xx (Blackbird to you non-USers). Twice I got it up past an indicated 180mph and decided nope, that’s as much as I can handle. Anything past 160 and I felt some serious levels of fear.
I destroyed a car belonging to someone I never met.
The car didn’t have a father at home growing up!
True, but it does make for entertaining exits at Cars and Coffee (just stand well back).
I think it’s mental health and a lack of fathers and now allowing God in our cars.
Could one of our resident mechanical engineers explain the logic of a 2500cc V8. Seems like an unusually small displacement for the most wonderful number of cylinders.
Lol you are so right.
And when one kid spins out of control, takes out the front of a house, and is killed: tel me, who pays off those lawsuits?
Easy solution: “Don’t street race”
Smoking and high blood pressure are choices you make to endanger yourself.
You want to make that the same as an innocent bystander who is killed by a street race?
