I don’t see a “Redeem” link/button, and the code doesn’t seem to work.

Super valid, and honestly I think the thing that makes the Xbox platform special is that buying for your One X is future-proofed. If and when you upgrade to a Series X, you can take all your accessories, your cloud saves will transfer over seamlessly, and any games you buy for it will be automatically upgraded for…
Yeah, it lacks first-party games, but it still has a massive third-party library. I get all my third-party games on Xbox because it has free cloud saves, free next-gen upgrades, comes with a free PC copy, and seamless cross-save to PC, which is far far more than I’d get buying the same game on PlayStation.
if i didn’t already have a One X and a Series X i would be all in on this. i would love it for its portability. but it’s so hard to justify the expense .-.
I’m not saying there should be a distinction between side quests and main quests, but one between side quests and non-quests. There’s tons of ? marks on the map that just lead to a cave or a monster or a place of power or whatever with 0 narrative content.
So uh, the thumbnail shows a bunch of blurred out content, and the article discusses drawing dicks and stuff, but the press release just says “profanity”. I’m confused. Is the inappropriate content some kind of player created imagery like the thumbnail implies, or is it just curse words?
Says the one being hella condescending, on a gross misinterpretation no less.
The question mark filter is awesome, but you know what I’d really dig? A filter that shows the locations of all important sidequest content. That way I can skip the collectibles but still find the cool narrative bits.
lmao no dude, not confusing to me, confusing to anyone else who sees screenshots or photos of it and/or similar setups.
Who wants to bet this is a result of that one time that Yuzu appeared in a Steam Deck marketing video lmao
For sure. Makes me wonder if Rockstar just did not give these poor folks enough time or something.
Man, just from the title I was expecting a haughty mic-drop kinda peacing out, but the video makes it look more like a “thx for the games fam, brb ima go and decompress for a sec”
Actually remarkable. I wonder if it running off the same codebase as the Xbox port means it has version parity with it, and thus might pave the way for crossplay? Being restricted to just the Switch audience and dedicated Switch servers strikes me as limiting for such a massive game. (Though I’m sure it being…
I will say that the Horizon Zero Dawn criticism in the article was a little confusing. GAIA is described almost like a deus ex machina that sprung from nothing to save the world. What it neglects to point out is that humanity built that machine. It was desperately fought for, in spite of all profit motives, by some of…
If it’s narrative-heavy, has some choices, and a few light puzzle elements, I don’t see why it can’t be as engaging as Obra Dinn, Outer Wilds, a Telltale adventure game, or anything that heavily emphasizes narrative over long action-y gameplay segments.
Maybe if anti-diversity hadn’t been forced down our throats for decades, you wouldn’t be having this so-called “problem”:
With Sony shutting down Japan Studio and prioritizing western studios, and with Tri-Ace stumbling so hard with Star Ocean 5, I feel like the writing is on the wall for Square Enix and other JRPG-centric devs. There’s a clear and reverberating signal that the Japanese market alone (and those sympathetic to it) is no…
lol no fam, the Switch is 5 years old. The supply chain is predictable and the parts are cheap and readily available.
