Ah, not always easy to read these comments here right. :) We are skiing whenever we get the chance. To me, the drive up is always part of the experience, but friends of mine who for no obvious reason distrust my sideways minivan tend to propose going up the mountains by train now...Whistler and other famous areas in

Or just buy a Subaru with good snow tires.

I’m old enough to remember why. They were slow and handled like crap. It sucked then and I’m sure age hasn’t improved it. A tin can that hasn’t lost its shine is still just a tin can.

ouais mais bon le français c’est pas une petite langue quand même...

That point doesn’t necessarily, but the fact that the Model 3 is out and cannot be purchased for less than the optioned price does lend to some substance for the articles headline. Do we even know if actual orders are being taken for the true base models yet, or are reservation holders still in the dark about when

Seems like a fantastic opportunity to set up a huge number of solar panels.

I’ve got to wonder who asked for an AWD muscle car in the first place

Yes they last longer in the north. Cold temps slow down chemical reactions. Batteries are rated for Cold Cranking Amps. The problem is when its real cold the battery has less power. And the motor oil is like molasses. And the gas vapour in the combustion chamber doesn’t really vapourize at low temps. Triple whammy.

The espada not being good looking? you shut your mouth!

Electrify them!

I will say it because everyone is too polite to mention it. Put another team in the GTA (Toronto) area. It would be a cash cow. As a habs fan this may be sacrilege but it makes too much sense.

Better, since you can adjust the dampers to your liking. It’s quite superb actually, especially over Québec’s third-world quality roads.

You’re going to hate this, but not warning pedestrians is actually a tactic a lot of cyclists use. The problem is that if you yell at a pedestrian “on your left” or whatever, they move erratically one way or the other. 1/2 the time to the left, so that they are now right in front of you. Better to not warn them

Seven years ago I bought a house next to a bike/pedestrian path system that runs through the city for many miles. I no longer ride on that path system because of all the oblivious pedestrians, half of whom have headphones on and the other half are walking their crapping dogs down the middle of the path. I ride on the

Don’t forget to mention the walkers hogging the path by walking side by side by side.

Counter point: Many walkers on mixed use paths have horrible behavior. They’ll be listening to music too loudly to recognize that a cyclist is behind them, let alone respond to a bell or voice. They’ll take up the entire width of the path, many times even beyond if they have a dog on a leash.

Rather than driving one of his own cars, it looks like Mr Jia will be walking down Electric Avenue...

In high school we called them "plywood pleasure palaces". It was the '80s...

Good lord, that thing is glorious. Tell us it has a stick shift and Jalopnik has a new perfect physical ideal...

In the USA, I would only do this on the mountain passes/hills so trucks don’t need as big of an engine and can use the electric motors for breaks on the down hill sections.
