Plug it in.    Less power needed from the alternator.  On a regular car everything is powered by gasoline.  Lights-battery-alternator-engine-gasoline.

Why doesn’t the car industry come out with a plug in ‘regular’ car, that is, a regular car with an extra battery that can start the car, run the ignition system, lights, blower fans ect ect for an hour or so before the alternator is needed. After all, the radio in the car is gasoline powered !

Whenever I see those carspotting with Jalopnik in NYC videos the cars in NYC seem to be all midsize or crossovers. I thought NYC would be the land of Focus’, Mini’s, nissan Versa’s, yaris’, corolla’s and honda fits ect

E bikes are still too expensive. I have talked to many people who have a commute that would be about just right for e bikes but they all balked at the cost. They are driving a 3-10 thousand dollar car to work and spending 2 grand on a something not as practical seems too much. They know about the very low operating

Avalanche snow is sort of like that heavy lumpy stuff that the snow plow dumps at the end of your driveway.   Its scary.
