Brown. Manual. Diesel. Steel Wheels. Rwd.

Dear pedestrians if there is a clearly marked walking path and a clearly marked bike path GET THE FUCK OFF THE BIKE PATH ! If it is a shared path DON’T WALK FOUR ABREAST AND WITH THE DOG LEASH STRETCHED ACROSS THE PATH AND YOUR SMALL CHILDREN RUNNING ALL OVER !

I recall helping a friend whose friend actually knew how to rebuild an engine. When he used the plastigauge on the chevy 350 we just stood there mesmerized.

Wow, that is some pretty bad corrosion for a plastic car.

I recall reading on some automotive website (wheels.ca ? maybe) how the reviewer said she was amazed when testing crossovers how good handling and driving they had become. Yet after testing 2-3 crossovers and then testing a car she was “holy cow this regular car handles like a sports car!” only to quickly realize this

Don’t know how many times I have been passed by a car who gave it a bit of gas to get by me and then they realize “oh, this is too fast!” then they brake and I am forced to use my brakes too.

I recall those as a kid. By the time I was old enough to drive some friends had these as beaters. One friend had one we used as a ski wagon. The heater didn’t work so well and I recall wearing our jackets and gloves to and from skiing.

The early GM New Look or Fish Bowl transit buses had a similar transmission, a one speed with a lock up torque converter.

Quebec city is cold, think Minneapolis. The batteries have to work hard just to heat the interior of the car. It is quite hilly too. If its similar to Montreal the roads are cracked and potholed and covered with road salt. This may be the ball joint and bearing problem. (and i will continue my rant about low profile

“I want something big and roomy. Minivan ? No, we want a suv/crossover!”

I heard for a regular passenger vehicle drums are better because the front wheels are always kicking up crud from the road and the discs and calipers are constantly being exposed to this stuff. As opposed to drums which are somewhat covered up. Could be just BS. Drums are an unholy pain in the ass to work on though !

Take the wheels off the roof and rest/strap them to the rear bumper. Those things are killing your aero.

The paths here (lower mainland) need to be better marked. Put a white line down the middle. Peds one half, bikers the other. And better yet, divide the bike lane in half with arrows for direction. Why they spend the money on bike paths yet can’t spend a few extra bucks on a can of white paint ?

Fernando Alonso ?

2 cycle engines. I have to deal with those things time to time. They are awful.

...and where is the superleggera model with no power steering ?

yes it does. look up black carbon global warming. basically its the difference wearing a black t shirt or a white one on a sunny day.

South America too. Took a santana taxi a few times in Rio. They were a few left. Felt like any clapped out taxi.

vatozone. that is awesome.

Nice Renault.
