Utility companies are scared big time about “independent power producers”. They are lobbying politicians HARD so they can have exclusive rights to supply power. Say you have some off grid solar panels and you have some excess power and you run a cable to your neighbour so they can charge their electric battery

Folks actually lived in downtown LA. Now bare grey concrete walls face the street.

San Diego county records show that they were on a PUBLIC COUNTY MAINTAINED ROAD.

Anyone who lives near this spot should drive up and down that road, slowly, with a shit ton of cameras, binoculars, giant microphones, special sensors, ect ect .......... Hey Jalops, time for a relaxing drive in the countryside.

Both of those should be done with trains. Diesel freight trains belching out smoke through cities where the grid is everywhere is crazy. More than a few inclines in rural areas have access to the grid too. Apart from the prairies most of the electricity in Canada is hydro.

Yes but in a city that has very few expressways (Vancouver, BC) the residential roads and minor blvds are crammed full rush hours.

You should rig up those spare tires on the back bumper. I have seen it on other bugs. You are killing the aero with that roof rack.

Strange that 5th is grinding. In most cars its 3rd where the syncros are worn since its the most commonly used gear. Try winding it out in 4th, neutral, lets the revs drop way, then clunk it into 5th. It also may be cured by the new clutch cylinder.

My guess is hard front suspension, very soft rear suspension. Nose gets pitched up hitting the bump, the rear end much less so. Or a lot of junk in the trunk and the rear suspension collapses enough(not to the bump stops) and doesn’t rebound fast enough to push the rear up.

How does that audi always manage to land on its rear wheels ? Most modern rally cars go nose dive.

Don’t know much about aviation but doesn’t that situation allow for less room for maneuvering in case of emergency ? Sudden abort landing, crazy wind, sudden mechanical, near miss.......

I’ve loaded broken up concrete and rocks many times in the back of pickup. May have dropped a few but not thrown them. A sheet of plywood works well.

Synthetic engine oil, tranny oil, diff oil, bearing oil ect ?

From the side profile it does look a bit camarory. Is it better than an s4 ? If the 2 door version of a car is not better, faster ect than the 4 door I find it stupid and pointless.

Hyundai Pony ! drove those things for years.

Amen. This.

True but the heaviest part of an engine is the crankshaft and that sits a bit higher in a HO engine, somewhat negating the advantage

And this guy makes a living driving roads paid for by taxpayers(“the government”).

How fast is the non-cheating diesel ?

Those Norwegian refs don’t come cheap.
