It’s sharp looking. But kinda like an Accord sharp looking.

Man does this sound familiar.

If I learned anything from Kerbal Space Program, nothing this simplified works correctly on the first go. It blows itself to little bitty pieces or runs out of fuel and crashes at some point (usually violently).

Hot Pursuit 2 defined the early 2000’s in arcade racing. And the soundtrack... what happened to The Buzzhorn anyway?

Clarkson. That’d be awesome.

There’s nothing wrong with a grey interior... in my 97 Wrangler.

came here for this. The beast of turin!

I daily drive a 20-year old Wrangler in the dead of Ohio winters and leave it parked for week-plus stretches at a time. I also write about it frequently, for the bemusement of others.

I can think of a few that will probably hold out, at least through the end of this decade. Maybe the next as well. We'll see.

I was gonna say a camping rig.

Stop trying to make shooting brake Corvettes happen. They'll happen the same time Ford launches a new Bronco... hopefully never.

Or I could drive the One Lap of America for ten years with a new $20000 car every year.... Hmmm

The predecessor to the Ecoboost appeared in almost all of Ford's brands including Ford, Lincoln, Mercury, Mazda, Jaguar, and Aston Martin. Aston's V12 is more or less just two Duratec V6s stuck together and warmed over by Cosworth. That's still used today.

I would have thought the rental cars would make it... :(

Any car you can rent from your local airport. Brand new Mustangs? Track car. Three year old Impalas with 60,000 miles? Take it and a couple of your buddies to the drag strip. Just snowed and you want a stripped out Civic to do reverse donuts in? Can do, good sir. You want to go camping / bust open some woods or a dirt

Given what we've seen from Ford in the past few days I think they have something other than aluminum in the works.

Now, if you'll excuse me, Acura is holding a press conference about the next NSX, which is due out in 2028. I am told it has wings.

For proof, check the view counts on Jalopnik's own articles: while the NSX story managed only 91,000 clicks, the Ford GT piece pulled in 673,000 interested readers. This is a highly scientific, tremendously professional measure that proves the new Ford GT is approximately 7.4 times cooler than the new Acura NSX.

Now playing

But don't worry, the ads for the big game are about 95 percent sold out.
