A good point, but at the same time, if you don’t show up, you potentially put yourself in the position to lose out on any benefit.

Every time I see this photo, I think “Man, Drew is/was very sweaty that day”

I kept thinking this year was Super Bowl 52 because the damn trophy looked like a second I.

I mean...there was that time that Matt Murdock lived in San Francisco :)

At 5'9", I’d say he’s more “Webb-ian” than “Bogues-ian”

Those comparisons to other players are based on some statistical metric on Basketball Reference.

It’s a statistical comparison on Basketball Reference. I don’t understand it, but that’s where I ended up earlier as opposed to raw numbers.

A valid point, but I’d still take any of those guys over Carmelo.

Yeah, numbers based on some convoluted statistics that I don’t understand.

“Basketball Reference compares his similarity scores”

Yeah, I don’t understand why he is considered to be a “superstar” (is it because he’s #20 all-time in “field goals missed” and #40 all-time in “turnovers”?). Any time I see him play (not often), I’m not at all impressed.

Oh man, I don’t follow any soccer leagues at all, but I appreciate that the All Star list reads like a “Let’s remember some guys” from the 2012 World Cup.

The “Fat Toad”?

Yeah, many times this fall, I sat down to watch a game, but when 2 hours had passed and half of the 2nd quarter still remained, I gave up.

In college, my friends somehow put a hole in their wall and then had the bright idea to punch in more holes. One guy was convinced that he was a human stud finder, so he goes up, taps on the wall, punches it, and proceeds to recoil in pain. He sure found that stud alright.

I can’t decide if my comment should be:

Having lived in both Pittsburgh and in the state of Delaware, I can say that Pittsburgh water is like a fine mountain spring, relatively speaking.

It’s the gif that keeps on giving

No, I’m wondering how only 4 (!) teams in the West actually have won more times than they’ve lost (Hawks, Oilers, Sharks, and Wild). Those same Wild are 4th in the Central (but with more games in hand)!

Walker wants to leave the program to protect his asset against future injury which could derail his career.
