“17 Days,” if I had to absolutely pick one, is my favorite Prince song.

He’d actually made up with them and signed contracts with them before his death, from what I understand. Some of the things that are coming out he’d been working on. Of course, my info could all just be bullshit rumors in some regards.

And though “Purple Rain” is not my favorite of Prince’s work (but it’s still damn good) that live performance video gives me fucking chills EVERY DAMN TIME. The man knew what he was doing.

I don’t know why I’m so surprised to find out this was scandalous information in 1938 or that people needed to be educated on this at the time when I encounter women here in 2017 that still have no idea how their own menstrual cycle actually works. But here I am. Surprised.

It just amazes me that people fall for this type of bullshit. Amazes me!

It’s being reported that this is an unofficial release, there is a lawsuit around it, and it all sounds pretty damn sketchy. I don’t feel that I could, in good conscious, purchase this album. Even though any and all music from Prince would be welcomed by my ears, it just feels wrong with the rumors around it.
