I agree with you but I think the reason that everyone is “picking on Disney” is because they’re the biggest. They literally have billions in the bank and can afford to stay closed, keep paying their employees, and set an example for the rest of the industry but they’re choosing not to.

It is legal in many states to fire someone for any reason at any time. It is called “at-will” employment. Technically, they can’t fire you for a discriminatory reason, but they can make up any number of other reasons to fire you.
