Park Forest (and the whole 2nd Congressional District) is one of the most integrated areas in the state. While majority African-American, about 1/3 is white and 1/6 is Latinx.
I grew up in Park Forest and it has an incredibly rich and diverse history. In fact, it was one of the first desegregated suburbs. It has had its trouble with demographic change and recovery from the recession, but it is still a great town. So here is a sincere EFF-You!
