Can't disagree with you there. Something related to the aliens from Avengers or Stark tech or even Asgardian tech would have been cool. Heck, I'd have liked if he was some kind of Android or a Skrull or something! :)

I think they needed to do something other than "he didn't really die" because in the Avengers he looked pretty dead to me. It would have felt cheap to be like "Oh that scene in the Avengers. It just LOOKED like he was dead. See...we tricked you!"

I'd buy FFXII on the Vita. It's the only post-NES FF I never played that I want to play since I have zero interest in FFXIII.

Whether you like the album or not, there's not a single song on that album that sounds bad live. I've heard them all live over the last year (saw them in DC last December, then in Baltimore in April, then just this past December in DC again).

I gave up pretty early in. What really got me was when I absolutely annihilated a challenge and would have definitely gotten gold or perhaps platinum and the game experienced a network hiccup and threw away my score.
