Neither are really realistic replacements for a majority of air travel. Building trains in the US that can realistically compete with existing Air travel infrastructure is next to impossible, look at the debacle going on in California right now.

Simple solution - raise prices to equalize the demand. Which is what is happening.

The sad truth is even a plane ordered for 2030 delivery is a quicker solution than building out a rail network. Even if airlines were able to think beyond the plane, it would cost more and take longer to implement better solutions. We need at least an interstate highways act sized federal response to even start

I like Helvetica. And if I could, I’d reply to you in Helvetica right now!

Or his lawyers could say that the use of bad design and Comic Sans would have indicated to anyone that this wasn’t an actual, official ticket.

A downtown business in Steamboat Springs, Co., issues parking tickets in their private lot. Not sure of the legality, but but it looked like a city issued ticket, with a fine (~$75) and payment info. My sister, who’s a local, just balled it up and threw it away.

My C6 Corvette had 2 fuel tanks also.

That thing has DUAL fuel tanks?! Whats the MPG is it like single digits, or are both tanks just like haf the regular size.  Looks pretty clean though and I can accept the after makret stereo just because the radios of the time would have only been am/fm/cassette decks.

Desirable car, great photos, simple description in the ad, clean title, low mileage and amazing condition for its age. Almost too perfect. I mean NP but I’m a little suspicious that I’m going to wake up in an ice-filled bathtub without a kidney if I go see this.

Probably lack of inventory and the associated games some dealers are playing.

As others have said, you got Kinja’d. We criticise writers all the time and comments don’t get deleted. Kinja sucks, it ate your comment. Nothing to see here.

You must be new here. Unless your comments are frequently disappearing from the main replies, that’s probably just kinja being kinja. People who upset the writers are more likely to disappear to the grays then just get a single, pretty mundane, comment removed.

Now playing

On a reccomend from this website, me and my buddy tried out Circle Drags. He won a dope trophy and showed all those rednecks what a little AWD import power could do.

Vingroup has businesses all over Vietnam. You might buy groceries at VinMart and clothing at VinPlaza.

Very interesting article. The craziest part to me is the price. at $30k, the low slow speed and ride quality might be excusable. But at $70k+, you’re competing with Teslas, Base Taycans, Mach-E GTs, and other very impressive cars

I agree, and for being as small as they are they do hold you in really well. Might also be the general lack of room in the car to slide around in.

I was at a Guardians game this summer, and went to buy a hot dog. The concession stand closest to me would only take orders made and paid for on a mobile device, or orders made in person and paid for in cash. It was incredibly dumb. Instead of being able to order the stupid thing from the guy standing right in front

The ones I drive are protoypes but they are every bit the real deal, even more hardcore actually since it’s a bit stripped.

Red ribbed leather in an otherwise, mostly, black interior. Paint, will eventually be some shade of blue.

I mean, I sat in the (unbolted) seat of my Datsun 240Z restomod project car and made vroom vroom noises. Does that count?
