A liftback.... what? Finish the sentence.
I’ll head this off. Liftback is a feature, not a body style. You can have a liftback coupe or a liftback sedan. Nobody would classify a supra as anything other than a coupe simply because of the liftback.

What a hellhole this automotive blog has become.

off topic: You know what’s even crazier to think about? How 18 being the age of consent is the minority in the states. I read a study article on that and it was fascinating how 18 was the age for all the states, but some of the feminists in the 60s thought that was too restrictive and fought to have it lowered...now

It wasn’t obvious that the GT-R was going to hold its value so well. I remember when it came out I was planning on buying one when they were in the $40s, and that just never happened.

Just a heads up. The $130,000 and $150,000 price tags on these special edition cars do not include mandatory floor mats. Once your dealer adds those you’ll be looking at $230,000 and $250,000 respectively.

I’m American, I travel to the UK, I have learned how rotaries work. Imagine my horror when on approaching one in some godawful place in the middle of England, just on entering the rotary, the guy on exit to the left turns to right on the rotary right into my path. I ended up on the grass in the middle trying to avoid

You’re at least partially not wrong.  There’s plenty of evidence that post COVID people have lost some familiarity with how to properly deal with the public.  Airplane / public transit behavior is absolutely one of them, but entitlement is all the rage for sure.

My hot take is that people are louder, dumber, and more miserable to be around than they’ve ever been, so I personally appreciate that it’s so easy to insulate myself from them.

The motivation for becoming a cop is often at odds with being a good cop.

they hire people with low IQs and probably ones that juuust eeked out a passing grade in high school. since most cops peaked in high school

“... a judicial ruling that states that police can’t be held liable for breaches of constitutional rights unless that right is clearly established in another, identical case.”
