Have you actually watched DS9 top to bottom? I remembered disliking it from watching it as a kid, because it didn't have the space cowboy and planet of the week shit from ST:TNG that appealed to kids. But when all the Star Treks showed up on Netflix lately, the wife and I went on a marathon.

Holy shit is DS9 good.

Yep! I've apparently been using "Nadir" wrong for some time. Oops.

It's Luigii. Grouping would be "A Murder of Luigii."

"worse off then Star Trek after 'Enterprise'"

Oh right, I know all about him but couldn't match face to name.

I don't know who that is, but god damned if it doesn't look like a slimmer Brian Posehn circa 1998.

I can't imagine this being put better. Bravo.

Amen to this. I feel like we're a year out from a fashion apocalypse like the early 80's, the kind that will be a punchline any length of time more than five years out.

This article makes me so damn happy. Great blend of silly and snark at those terrible stock photos. Thanks guys!

The tan, too. Tans are a pet peeve of mine, and she was just one shade lighter than Jersey Shore orange. Eww.

Her fucking voices are amazing. She has like ten of them and they're all so specific and unique.

Same, as a straight dude! He tops the Boys list.

"Remember that season she tried to have those bangs and loose waves? It wasn't even close to as pretty as her normal straight hair, in my opinion."

This was around season 9 or so yes? Something really odd was happening with her at that time, I think her adult face was finally coming in and it's hard to decide if that

Agreed entirely, that whole ensemble would look so much better with full pants.

Well, he started out as a little doodle for the packaging. By the time the ads started in the late 70's, I'd imagine it boiled down to "hey wouldn't it be funny if we dressed a guy up in a suit to look like the doodle?" Advertising wasn't as focus-grouped to death back then, and I don't imagine anyone said utterly

What are you talking about? I've only seen one post showing the reaction you're describing, and you want to pin that on the entire site? Settle down and don't generalize. Most of us are very pleased by Louis' statements.

Maria is definitely a feminist, but she usually expresses it in very satirical, opposite-day kind of ways (like Colbert) by saying things meant to repulse the audience. She's very sneakily counterculture. I love her tons.

No, there's no way he's "cashing in." Are you a fan of his work at all? If not, let me assure you that the man has very little filter, he is almost completely unqualified id. He would never be politically correct for its own sake, and often says some pretty offensive shit because it seems funny to him (and almost

It's not the ad, it's that we're in a strange world in corporate America when a bunch of marketing types presumably spent hours sitting around a table (or on GoToMeeting) throwing out business world buzzwords about the Kool-Aid Man's personality and likes/dislikes.

Actually, given that Pixar's Lasseter resorbed his former master (by taking over all of Disney Animation Studios), it'd be much more like saying "Nintendo made Metroid Prime 3." Not Nintendo, but Nintendo-adjacent.
