It was pretty typical in actual history. Don’t swear allegiance to the new ruler they kill you; Rebel then they crucify every man woman and child.

If you want things to make sense then American Politics is not for you :-)

This is exactly what I said to my wife last night. She already blew up the high septum so why would she think twice about killing the entire delegation.

It was the doom followed by inbreeding.

I think she will try to get things done and I’m glad to have more firebrand people with a mission in Congress. The problem is, the old guard doesn’t like change and because she is brash, it’s rubbing them the wrong way. In a few years when she has figured out how to outwardly temper her passion, she will be a force to

I think the last election cycle made it clear that the Democrats will do what is best for the party leadership and not for their members/country. The entire SuperDeleagte system is set up for that reason and when the alternative is the Republicans they are at Zero risk.

I would have thought the last presidential election would have made folks realize that popular support is not enough.

Well, I never said it had a chance beforehand but it will now have even less amongst old guard Democrats.

Not really, I just have more insight into the stupidity of current DC politics thanks to my work in the Cannabis industry. No reason to be mad at me becuaseIburst your bubble.

Welcome to American politics ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.

Yes, but the Venn diagram of “Haters” is not a circle. Warren is not a rising star but OAC and she has been ruffling feathers in the Democratic party is so there is an incentive to block what she supports.

Well, the Republicans control the Senate so you have to care what they think. There are also plenty of Old School democratic leadership that won’t want to put a feather in he cap.

Does not mean you get things done though.

Because the Republicans (and many old guard democrats) don’t like her and will vote against something they would otherwise support just to keep her from getting a win. Just had a similar conversation with a congressional public policy specialist in D.C. yesterday regarding the State’s Act. He said it won’t pass

It’s all about time.

You do realize that having Representative Ocasio-Cortez’s endorsement in no way helps (and probably hurts) its chance of success.

Could be that was the issue. It’s not that it didn’t taste like a burger, its that it tasted like a low grade, pre-made frozen patty that I wouldn’t want to eat. I actually like those black bean burgers Costco used to sell and that you be far better to eat.

The dealership experience is ridiculous. We bought our last car from a BMW dealership (it was a low mileage trade in Outback) and the process took 3 hours. That’s not including a test drive or browsing that is walking in, handing them every piece of information we had and then killing time (we were already approved

I just tried one and while it wasn’t the worst burger I have ever had it was pretty close. If it was the only option I would eat it but almost anything else would be preferable.

I had Impossible Burger sliders last night at my hotel and they only seem like real burger patties if you are comparing them to those 25 cents each frozen patties you get at Walmart. Basically cardboard texture with pink color in the middle.
