Uncle Bill’s and the Courtesy Dinner were my usual places when I lived there. Tony’s Pizza in San Francisco does a version of St. Louis style pizza that is almost authentic (it’s edible which makes it not authentic).

It is horrendous (you can actually get an authentic version in San Francisco at Tony’s in north beach).

Several problems here.

Jokes aside, some St. Louis foods are an affront to good taste; St. Louis style pizza (imo’s) is filth and a Slinger is only good when drunk or hung over.

Well, those rules have been on the books for a while but the change was pretty rapid after legalization. I was such an extreme change Oklahoma is diving into legalization with an eye towards dealing with their opioid problem.

Does anyone know how they accounted for lifestyle differences?

We were just having this discussion at work and someone brought up the fake voice and I made the same argument. In the misogynist brogrammer culture of silicon valley, I can forgive someone so young feeling the need to make a change like that however misguided it might have been.

Just to be clear, he called the people at the event where the murder took place “fine people”; not the person who did it. I know its tempting to lump people together who seem similar but that that is the path to bigotry and hate.

Once again, Trump is a symptom and not the root cause.

I bet if he used a different species of wood it would have run longer. Red Oak (or maybe ash) has some pretty wide grain pores that probably facilitated those burn lines. I have some Tasmanian Blue Gum (Eucalyptus Globulus) boards that are super dense with tight, interlocking grain that I bet would work well.

The difference between lobbying and bribery is being open about it. Manafort is not going to jail for what he did, he is going to jail for not registering that he was doing it.

So is PewDePie also involved because they referenced him?

Weirdly enough, in many states, you can get a DUI for riding a horse while drunk (I know someone who had this happen).

Heck yeah, the comments on here make it clear most people are very disconnected from their food supply.

there is nothing inherently wrong with beef. If you buy from the right producer (no grain, pasture-raised) it can actually be a carbon sink (yes really).

There are plenty of permaculture-based cattle producers in the world and many in the US (I am actually in the middle of building one ). Outside of the US, grain fed beef is a rarity and most cows in the US are only fed grain right before slaughter. Go buy grass-fed beef, it tastes better and is healthier.

Parker ranch is awesome; largest private ranch in the US.

Not all cows and in most of the world grain-fed cows are the rarity. Traditionally cattle are raised in areas that are not suitable for other crops and it is easy to find grass-fed beef in the USA if you care (it’s also healthier than grain fed).

Modern trash to energy plants are cleaner than most people think and in the grand scheme of things, not that bad for the environment. Hawaii has been doing it for a long time and it reduces water pollution while also reducing the carbon footprint (if alternatives are coal and oil).

Fixed it for you. Getting a tax credit is not the same thing as receiving money from the government. There is no net reduction in Arlington’s taxes and in fact, they probably go up.
