In my experience, America is significantly less racist than than most of the world.  Some of the stuff I see on TV overseas makes me cringe.

Oh I agree, but Mexico does not function that way. I wouldn’t have built a plant there in the first place based on the last 100 years of history.

I think their point was you take the “good” (low cost labor) with the “bad” (lawlessness) when you outsource to Mexico.
