Policing is, but I haven’t advocated for policing. I’ve advocated for notation, which is not punitive. This is basic science - you gather data, and then you assess it. You CAN gather that data by measuring policing occurrences, but I don’t think that’s very helpful, and it’s not something I’ve advocated for.

A curriculum is something that shows up on a syllabus, not whatever interaction you want to retroactively frame as valuable in some way.

The idea that dress code “corrections” can be made in some vacuum where they carry no judgment on or negative connotation to the student is absurd.

All I can say is that, while I have applied it to Boy Scouts, the system was developed and designed outside of Boy Scouts, and is in practice working mostly the same (the major difference being that the schools I know where it’s practiced, they don’t have uniforms, so it is applied to regular wear).
