No one is going to break ties with their family because their parents came from a time where mixed race relations wasn’t a thing.

Everything you said is already commented on, in other comments, so I’ll ask that you please read the thread for rebuttles to your discussion points.
Well, I’m okay with being an asshole, but I certainly don’t relish it. If you have any pointers on how to be less of an asshole, in the future, I’m open to suggestion!
I certainly don’t think I know everything about anybody (not even myself!). And I doubt I “get it”. I’m open to discussion about it, but I’m speaking in certainties because I do feel quite certain about what I’m saying.
By that token, anybody who isn’t actively confronting racism on each and every single opportunity that presents itself—not matter how tangentially—is racist.
Complacency to racism enables racism. If you allow your loved ones to be racist, and don’t stand up to it, you’re enabling it. If you’re enabling racism, that makes you a racism enabler.
Oh, believe me, I get the friction there. It’s rough to have to come to terms with family issues. I have all the sympathy in the world for people who have to deal with racist family members. It’s like a constant tightrope walk that causes intense anxiety. I’m not trying to belittle that, in any way.
Rip them to ROMS, so you can still play them with emulators, scan the art (covers, booklets, extras, maps, etc) and store them digitally.
First guy is racist and a fat-shamer. And I feel for him, because it really seems like he doesn’t want to be. But them’s the breaks. If you can say “I don’t want to be with her ... because she’s black”, that’s racism. It doesn’t matter how many extraneous steps you put in between.
FWIW: You’re right about this. No idea why so many people in this thread have some kind of issue with acknowledging the legitimacy of someone’s intent, while also correcting them. It’s an extremely valuable thing to be comprehensive. That’s why scientific papers are so damn long.
Ding ding ding! We have ourselves a winner!
You sorta buried the lede, here. I’m VERY interested in this whole “infinite map size” that he has apparently developed. Not so much in that he put one game into another, but very much that he was able to develop a way to allow for it.
So, she’s a woman” so then what makes a masculine trans woman a woman besides her word.
I disagree with you, as I see it, in these ways:
See other reply. You’re not understanding the scope of the definition you’re using.
I’ve said that like 3 times already so I did all caps just in case you miss it again.
Conflating gender identity with gender does more to confuse than to help.
Jesus.
I wrote that in some contexts gender is used for things that have no sex like boats cars andtools. But in the context of humans gender is synonymous with sex.
No worries. I’d appreciate some formatting, but I got through it all the same.
