I remember being really excited when Phoebe Waller-Bridge was rumoured for the role and then when they announced Jodie Whitaker just being struck by the blandness of the choice. I mean she’s been fine in most of the stuff she’s been in but is an utterly vanilla choice for the Doctor.

If the season 4 remix has achieved anything it’s that it at least seems to indicate Mitch Hurwitz is aware of the problems with the original versions scattering of the cast in to separate stories and the bloated episode runtimes. Colour me at least partially optimistic.

Bushmaster looks absolutely bloody ridiculous, and that’s exactly what this show needs, took itself way to seriously last series. They turned Luke in to black Captain America for the Netflix shows, I’d like to see him be more like the braggart with a heart of gold he is in a lot of the comics.

The guy who plays Kasius’ Dad on Agent’s of Shield seems to be channeling Jermaine Clement’s David Bowie impression....I am absolutely fine with that. I look forward to him telling Daisy to get an eyepatch and then her walking in to things.

I absolutely love This is Happening closer ‘Home’ it’s so upbeat with such bittersweet lyrics. Love the ‘Ahhhhhaaaahhhh’ vocal callback to Dance Yrself Clean bringing the album full circle.
