It’s not like a Hellcat where it’s just an engine and almost nothing else. This is a completely bespoke body, suspension, etc. etc. etc. Ford is likely still losing money at $300k a piece.

The issue is that it’s $300k for a Mustang. People don’t give Porsche crap for the pricing of the GT3 RS because yeah, it’s based on a high-end, super-capable sports car that starts at $120k. It’s a huge stretch for Ford to ask over GT3 RS money for something based (however loosely) on a car that starts at $30k.
this isn’t attainable for 99.9% of people
They did what they could, but I think the main issue is that this generation of Mustang is probably the least-attractive since the Mustang II.
A pilot who just woke up after a nap wondering why the sky is full of trees all of a sudden.
It’s hard for my 2024 brain to accept that there was a time not long ago where domestic manufacturers not only built and sold small cars, but also sold factory performance parts for them.
He might’ve even crashed a truck through a building or something.
All I can think any more is what a waste it was to use the Cybertruck platform for the Cybertruck. Tesla could’ve done so much with it, and it’s just wasted on a novelty vehicle.
This looks like a Zonda that hasn’t finished loading textures yet.
But when the car inevitably does not meet reserve, he’s going to have to try and sell it privately, and considering the car market of today + Fisker, he’s in for a world of hurt. The value of the car has already cratered, so you may as well just go the no reserve route and take what you can get.
The mesh grille is leagues better. The stupid shield thing looks like a cheap eBay accessory or something.
The Hellcat continues to be one of the worst things to have ever happened to the world at large.
I agree with this. The design is way too busy, even on the Limited, and the douche bro trims just look downright absurd. Current-gen is leagues better.
I can’t help but adore the Crown - it just makes me happy to see one because they’re so weird. They’re also proving to be extremely popular with the olds, so that gives me hope they’ll be some clean ones around in 5-10 years.
