The NSX Was Only In Development For 4 Years

The problem with making any additional Wonka movies is that the first one was essentially perfect in every way and did not need any sequels/prequels/reboots. No matter what you do or who you cast in your new movie, it’s going to be endlessly compared to the Wilder version and it will inevitably fall flat because of

These are basically unobtainium, and especially in Ohio. The odometer discrepancy could end up being a pain but if the rest of the car looks as nice as it appears to, this is an easy NP. I’m sure everyone who thinks no Honda should ever cost more than $2k will be arriving shortly, though.

I always thought these kind of did make some degree of sense. You get an unassuming, easy-to-park, economical city car with a luxurious interior. No they weren’t worth their MSRP new, but I think a rich weirdo could do worse if they wanted something unique to bomb around London in.

Nobody’s denying that the GTR nameplate is very storied and the cars have accomplished a lot, but a surprising number of people seem to view GTR Skylines as the only Japanese cars that really matter.

Can you really call it a copy if they fixed everything that was wrong with the original version?

This take and the Supra take are both correct. It’s not that Supras and Skylines are bad cars, just that they are absolutely 100% not the end-all-be-all so many people make them out to be.

My man got assassinated mid-post.

It depends on who’s doing the overrating. Is it the general public and casual enthusiasts? Then it’s easily the Charger/Challenger Hellcat.

The fact that it drives like a generic CUV is literally the entire point of the vehicle lol.

I feel like this is the closest they’ve been to the edge so far. If Threads can keep this momentum going I think it’s finally over for Twitter.

Loving shitcan beater wagons more than overbuilt, undrivable restomods is a sign that you’ve ascended to the highest form of automotive enthusiast consciousness.

REALLYYYYY hope this is reasonably priced and not some super limited production thing, because I might actually pursue this. I’m sure markups will be beyond insane for the first couple of years, though.

That gen Altima was a really huge deal for Nissan. I remember every car magazine at the time it came out was filled with marketing for it, and it seemed like it was featured in almost every road test, especially the V6 version. I’d almost go so far as to say that it was very far ahead of its time.

Normal Republicans, yes, but I don’t know if there’s enough of those left for DeSantis to win. The party has really been hijacked by MAGA people who won’t accept anyone but Trump or possibly one of his kids. Republicans could also have an uphill battle in ‘24 if the Democrats play their cards right (which I doubt they

Contrarianism and lib-owning are two of their cornerstones, yes, but you underestimate their loyalty to Trump. He could tell them point-blank to vote for DeSantis, and most of them would refuse to do it as they would claim Trump is being held hostage by the deep state and being forced to say things he doesn’t mean. A

Even if he gets the nomination, I can’t imagine him winning the overall election as MAGA people would refuse to vote for him and everyone else sees him for the shrill little oily goblin that he is.

I think it’s because exotic Italian cars used to have this air of romance and mysticism about them that they just don’t have any more. They’ve kind of become parodies of themselves these days, and this most recent SF90 XX is a prime example of that. They’re also not really “exotic” for lack of a better word any more.

I can’t imagine ever doing a cruise unless it’s a river cruise in Europe where it’s basically just serving as transportation between cities. I hate the idea of being in one space with thousands of other people and I’m only allowed to go to pre-defined stops along the way.

My father went the same way :(

This is what I’m saying. It’s amazing that car people have so little understanding of the automotive industry.
