The fake "hemis" are pretty reliable. Very close to LS reliability but like what has just been said its the rest that fails Mopar. I love some of their cars, Cherokees, Wranglers, SRT-4, hell even the Rams are nice but the death wobble, brake lines catching on fire, Cherokees liking to flip, diffs with loose bolts,

As a GM guy I will give it to Chrysler that the RWD platform saved them. But they are not the most reliable and not the easiest to work on especially the lower grades. (Total junk) But the only real problem I have with the Chargers and 300 how they are marketing the name "hemi". It’s NOT a Hemi they use the name for

The SSR. It could have and should have been the replacement of the El Camino. Not some roadster that only grandpa drives. It was a heavy slow POS 0-60 in 7.7 seconds... If Gm was smart they could have brought the Holden Ute over with the GTO/Monaro at the time and we would have an El Camino. Back when the G8 came out

I know im a bit late to the party but

I have tried to fight for Honda too but I almost given up. And I’ll give you three reasons why you will never see another S2K, Prelude, Integra/RSX, or a true NSX. The first main reason is easily shown by the NSX. It’s going to be made in Ohio, while that’s great for us Ohioans;

Well that’s probably true now but and the reason they haven’t switched. But before 2000 Silverado was just a grade level. I think it went Cheyenne, Silverado, and Scottsdale but the trucks were just named C/K series (C 2wd K 4wd, depending on years and load levels 10, 1500, 2500 and so on. 5 was for the blazers). You

Good question, i dont have a clue and i dont think GM knows ether. As a Chevy guy I would have rather seen GMC discontinued than Pontiac. Hell even if they just brought the cars straight from Australia and rebadged them as Pontiac, im pretty sure no one would have cared. And they could have just carried over the

Well that sounds about right for mopar, i mean the fiery death part

They are great cars though and the other thing is that his Si is sitting at 120k+. He drives about 25k a year so its already kind of high miles but never missed a service. ( though he does not have an excel sheet lol) And i never (well still dont) understood the difference between the wrench A or B.

It seems like the

Depends on the years. My dads 07 Fiji Si with HFP body kit has a trade in value is just above 10K. He also works for Honda and has only had Honda certified technicians work on the car. Never been modified or beaten and less than year old tires

Well the 98-02 Ram Air WS6 Trans-ams/Firehawks more specifically the manuals are still selling in the mid to high teens in good condition, some of the more rare ones like the SLP or Collectors/Anniversary Edition are $20+. Thats pretty good for a decade old car

Wat? You must be the one from NJ or Oregon. The trigger is pulled, the other part is like a lock so the gas will stay flowing at certain speed. Compare between the pic below the handle is in the off position and the level/lock is not parallel to the handle

This is one of three vans i would pay $28k for and that subaru isnt one of them.

A C5 or C6 with a grandpa driving it. I always think that the guy had enough money to buy his Vette and still not worry about his retirement funds. He may not be rich but hes got enough to where the kids will fight over it.

i second that

just like any car buying know what your getting into. The engines are harder to get at, have to take of a few panels, they are heavy so check ball joints and shocks, they are surprisingly easy to maneuver but good tires are still a must, check ALL electrical components, and get one with a common engine and drivetrain

I actually agree at least GMs side. We used a 96 Chevy conversion van (Stealth is the grade i guess) to go back and forth to OBX last Sept. Over 750 miles one way and not one hiccup. The 350 SBs last for ever and the aftermarket exhaust make it so you can hear it. Not enough to drone but enough to know its a V8. They

Yet way more unreliable. The the turbos go bad to easily due to oil blockage, timing chains come lose and fall off the sprocket, high carbon build up, and the heads are always needed to be remachined. BWM over complicated them and should have just kept the Super charged version . So no to a mini or Beetle, buy a GTI

hey dont be disrespecting my catfish grill... lol

I like these years for the monte but what about the 80s Monte Carlo Areocoupe? just doesnt look right...
