There HAS been a covert effort to deflect heat away from the atmosphere.  That’s what the chemtrail phenomenon is all about. And no I’m not talking about contrails.

As an environmental engineer: In theory, stratospheric aerosol injection, especially with sulfur, could work to increase the earth’s albedo (reflectivity) and reduce incoming solar radiation. (It’s the same basic principle as a sufficiently large volcanic eruption causing a volcanic winter—e.g., 1816 as the “year

The remake demo is very short. When I did my first playthrough, one of the cows caught on fire, ran into the Chainsaw man and ended the demo. It literally took me 10 minutes to play through the demo because of that. There were still 10-12 villagers still walking around but it just went to a cutscene and ended. Super

“Going forward” means “You screwed up in the past, but I’m choosing to overlook that and focus on next time. Do not make me look backward to examine your screwup in more detail.

“Giant underground skeleton” probably refers to the skeleton sitting on the throne in one of the Eternal Cities. It doesn’t seem to be the same kind of entity as the Fire Giant, and is in wrong part of the map, anyhow. I’ve generally assumed that it had something to do with the Nox’s experiments in creating their own

1) Really enjoyed reading about A2, as it’s been something I’ve flirted with booting up for a long time. I couldn’t bring myself to drop $60 on Fire Emblem, 2023's first half is just too loaded, so I just may use this to scratch my grid tactics itch - thanks for being so in-depth

Love checking in on this thread each week. Never posted but always love reading about everyone’s games and thoughts. Ironically I’ve decided to post when I just finished a game and haven’t decided on what’s next.

Midnight Suns has taken over my life. You can join a book club with Captain America. You can go fishing with Spider-Man. Also, the combat’s cool. But you can pretty much go on dates with Wolverine, even if he’ll never *really* love you.

Lil Gator Game is what I was looking forward to and I pre-ordered it on sale and beat it in a day and had a great time.

Top Gun Maverick currently has an 8.4 rating on imdb. There’s no way in hell that movie is even remotely compatible to other films at a similar rating. We’re talking about Gladiator, Psycho, Alien, Raiders of the Lost Ark, The Shining, Amadeus, and many others. These are films people routinely suggest seeing if you’ve

I mean, yes, the fact that Brolin is a genuinely great actor while Sam Worthington shouldn’t be in movies is a larger factor than Cameron is giving credit.

What tragedy? Thanos was a psychotic asshole. The only ones who sympathize with him are sociopaths.

But lore isn’t really narrative... Lore is background. When we talk about: What is a narratively driven game? And you compare Mass Effect or God of War with Elden Ring, there’s an astonishingly huge difference in execution. Mass Effect has a ton of lore, but everything that moves you forward is tied to an over-arching

Yeah, I’m having a hard time understanding the backlash. Elden Ring has more lore than a dozen other AAA titles put together. They hired GRRM to help write the story FFS! Video games are not movies. They’re not books. By their very nature they automatically eliminate more traditional narrative structures because the

I agree that it is a remake of The Stepford Wives but after Trump and our terrifying Supreme Court and the terrifying Fox “news” I find this story more resonant than ever. When Stepford wives was made in the 1970's they were reacting to social revolution that had only happened in the 1960's but now with cable “news”

Really. Jump through some hoops just to snag some carbonated prune soda?

I’m guilty of not wiping, but I also don't really sweat. Is it really only an issue if you do?

I like Scorsese’s movies, except for that nervous fella who always directs them.

Even the genie himself hasn’t been much more than a vehicle for plot machinations to lurch forward.

Yes. And despite all their rage, they are still just rats in a caaaaaaaaaaaaaaage.
