Not impressed. It's still 300 lbs heavier than the sexier Jaguar XJ.

I guarantee if they build a RWD alpha-based sport wagon, I'll buy it new.

They're closer to the old EPA numbers which were much more fantastical than the current EPA numbers.

God, I want a Cadillac Encore. Not for me, I just want to pull up next to one at a red light. That car is already hilarious without sharp angles and fins. I wonder if Cadillac will use the Alpha Platform at all for SUVs? I'd totally buy an ATS based SUV (assuming they're never going to give Jalops what we really want,

Disagree. Have you driven a current gen car? They're faster than anything ever and every car gets above 20 mpg on the highway. Continue finding ways to make cars faster and cheaper to drive around. In 2025 I might be able to buy an Escalade that runs 11 second quarter miles and gets 40 mpg highway.

The last gen A3 hatch with the 2.0T and AWD was a blast. I tried to get my brother to buy it about a decade ago, but he doesn't understand cars. He got an IS250 instead.

18 year old you was rich. This thing is going to cost more than a bases Cayman.

Nobody cares about the 7 series. It would be called the CT: S-class if they were targeting specific cars with their names.

Lack of direct replacements probably only means both are growing. The CTsmallest will probably be about the same size as the ATS, but it sounds like it will be FWD. The CTnextsizeup (ATS replacement) will be larger, because the ATS is the smallest car in the class right now, which apparently only sits well with me,

I tried the same line. Cadillac wanted me to long-term test the car so bad that they allowed me to drive my old car to one of their dealers, order the exact car I wanted, wait a few months, then buy it right off of the lot! 1 year and 41k miles later, it's still working fine.

Torch, your HTML funsies never show up correctly. The only option I have is half of the care option. That is more care than I’m willing to throw my support behind. Maybe if you could cut the box down to 10% of care, I’d vote for that.

I saw the GLA for the first time yesterday. It's Nissan Juke tiny. I test drove the X1. If I needed a wagon, I'd probably buy that car. It wasn't as fast as other performance SUVs that I've sampled (SQ5, ML550), but it was way more fun to throw into a corner, and it takes up the same amount of space in the universe as

I wrote a lot of CUE based stuff and then I was like IS THAT ORANGE LEATHER?

Trickle down, plz.

These tanks are merely lost in Toronto. Must have taken wrong turn.

Eh, it's a big sedan. The hoods are identical, and the front is very similar, but I'm not seeing it in the rest of the car.

Red interiors make every vehicle more interesting.

Is the finished car 400 lbs lighter than the old one or is the frame 400 lbs lighter?

More of a different take on a modern M3, I suspect. I don't think Toyota is going to have much R&D work in the powertrain.

Significantly larger than the Z4? The Z4 is not a long car, but it's heavier than a Corvette (and about as heavy as a Z06 in 35is trim). This thing is going to be a pig (a quick pig, that handles flat and has near 50/50 weight distribution, but it will still be in the pig family).
