A GNX would've cost 75K at least.

Neutral: What Should Porsche Build Next?

I don't think it's possible to make a U.S. market car that cheap in 2015. I am positive it isn't possible to make a good U.S. market car that cheap in 2015. Price it competitively with the Sonic/Fiesta/Fit. It needs to start around 14k-15k.

The FF, you could drive it on non-paved surfaces!

GIMME BACK THE SURFWAGON

UI design suggestion: Instead of that little progress bar with numeric percent and range, have the i3's grill slowly warp into a frowny face until it goes completely sad and the headlights turn into X's representing the battery dying.

The V6 only came with the auto, which is fine. My only complaint with the transmission is that I wish it was the 8 speed they're trickling down from the Vette.

Because it's better than the Germans? If you'd like me to quantify it with numbers, I can't really. The ATS is more fun to drive. I'm in my 20s, so it's not like I have any nostalgic attachment to "old Cadillac." I got in the car thought "this is a blast to drive," then got in a C class and laughed and said "nope,"

Because the car is sold by Cadillac people.

Yes. Ummm yes. Actually, yes.

The 458 was better, but it's still pretty.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Sure does look like a Buick!

So carbon fiber is the answer, then.

I'm beginning to wonder if aluminum is actually lighter than steel. Audi is always touting their aluminum-ness, yet the S4 is nearly 4000 lbs (300 lbs heavier than the AWD V6 ATS). Jaguar got my hopes up with the XE, but crushed them with a fat aluminum ass (claimed 3670 lbs for the supercharged 6 cyl).

That redesign is too tame. I choose to believe that BMW bought the rights and produced the canon sequel to the 2008 R8.

A few years ago, I averaged 12.5 mpg one tank in my premium fuel guzzling IS300. I wasn't racing or anything, but the car never saw a speed faster than 30 mph. Luckily, during that period, a tank of gas lasted me about 30 days, because I could walk to most places.

Yep. don't know if the holes actually do much, but you can feel the weight difference between the ATS and the other 3 series competitors.

City mpg is a goddamn joke, but highway is usually accurate for a true "cruise control on, doing something close to 65 miles per hour" trip.

I have those!
