I actually never hit submit on that comment because I hadn't finished it and work became suddenly important. Weird that it decided to post.

Really? The LOeXG takedown is of the 30 ft car? Not the 500 ft sub that is made of magic, and runs on magic, and couldn't possibly exist? The car is dumb, but that little torpedo bastard thing is boring. Boring is far worse than dumb, especially in a completely idiotic movie.
Yep. You can get more power for cheaper by purchasing something American, but then you're getting a heavy boat car (at least until the new Mustang and possibly the new Camaro arrive). And even if the new Mustang is seriously light, it's a different kind of car. You won't get all the fancy race tech and 300 hp…
Why would anyone buy the $40k car, when the $35k version exists and is a thing? Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't that $5k buy you a bunch of luxury stuff? If you're worried about your moonroof, leather seats, and Harmon Kardon stereo, then why bother with this car, especially when it costs as much as a…
It takes a special kind of wallet. I'd spend an extra $1300/year in fuel in the SS, according to the government. Don't feel bad for me, though. My car has 320 hp and is about 500 lbs lighter. It's still a blast.
I didn't buy it because 23 MPG highway. I think that 95% of potential buyers will overlook it for the same reason. Same car, LT1 + GM's new 8 speed? Yeah, I would've bought that.
As long as the 8-speed doesn't go in the ATS v6 for 2015, I'll be ok.
In that it is the same kind of engine? Yes, they're nearly the same. In that the Porsche engine will make 200 hp? Nope. Even if the Germans release a NA version, it'll be a mini monster. It won't win any HP/$$ wars, because it's going to still cost between 50-90k depending on how many things you want leathered, but…
340 hp puts them on top of the "not quite performance letter worthy" sports sedans (335 and what not). 380 hp puts them way over their competitors. Please let it be 380. Also, let the Jag actually be light for once, and not made of that heavy ass aluminum that the F-type is made of.
Skip any cool Buick and build a Buick Encore Beast. It would be even more swollen and awkward! Just like the government! POLITICAL COMMENTARY!
These photos did not change my opinion of this car. I still like it.
The countdown only works if you can see the next light, though. In my commute, I drive through a town where there are three consecutive red lights covering three city blocks, then 1.5 miles of open road, a corner, then another red light. I'd love to know how fast I should go in between the last city block red light…
Can I make one up? Cadillac ATS to Buick Grand National.
If this car comes in 3200 lbs or heavier, Jaguar has failed. Make it sub 3000 lbs, and I'll consider buying one. Otherwise, I'll stick to the light-ish, and not expensive ATS.
I like the Panamera's exterior. There's probably something wrong with me.
50% efficiency is huge. 30% more power is huger. I want a nearly 40 mpg, 500+ hp Corvette today, plz.
15 years has made a big difference. My IS300 has the same EPA rating as the 2wd versions of these massive things. Granted, I average 25 mpg (all highway commute), which would probably be impossible for the 'Burb brothers, but 18 combined is really impressive.
But it's got brake gills! For breathing! If it ever swims or something! That's the thing that you pay for. Well, that and the convenience fee you owe to BMW for removing one of those pesky rear seats.
Great list! Would read again.
