Can’t agree more. I did not go in with a completely open mind, I will admit. I really enjoyed it, but after having 24 hours to reflect on it I absolutely love it. Everyone who has asked me about it I have told them the same thing.... Forget everything you are expecting, it is not that.

The plotting itself in Act 2 was pointless. What Rian Johnson was trying to do (I’m not sure I totally agree with his decisions) was take the usual harebrained Star Wars convoluted Hail Mary hero plan and make it fail. And fail spectacularly.

Consider that if the situation were reversed and you could see the dude’s package in his briefs, it would be a moment of hilarity, but for whatever reason some random insertion of female anatomy is somehow offensive.
