Actually, for some strange reason my local stations now have a 50+ cent per gallon difference between regular and premium. Before the hurricanes nailed the coastal refineries, the difference was under 20 cents. A couple years ago it was just 10 cents.

And here is the rub. Never met an organized off-road organization that wasn’t open to use fees or a work/play agreement. Most of the private land in the Northeast is used under these kind of arrangements. The private land holders allow use by the OHV group and the group agrees to certain conditions.

Take a look at a You Tube couple with a channel called “Abandon Comfort”. They just finished a 100 day trek all over the US (and parts of Canada) in a Toyota Prius using free campsites and such. And they did it for about $4000.

Nope. Not at all. Plenty of proof of that.

Since you’d have to be on Crack to pay that Price, I declare this to be CP!

1) Not sure I want a car called GAC

Go that way really really fast. If something gets in your way, turn.

My dad worked for a City and their sick policy was that it built up and after several years, you could amass quite a bit. Many people used it as “vacation” and regularly drained the pool.

I can’t believe the NFL is actually letting that creep back in their show.

Da one twue wing?

Much easier to deal with the Karmann-Ghia Line.

I think they want James May to test it.

The thing that sucks is that when an area gets closed, the damage does not stop. Sure, it’s less, but the people who abuse the land don’t care about rules.

I prefer the 1968 edition.

Except that the premium fuel most Mercedes require is now in the $3 a gallon range. Not exactly thinking that is cheap. Certainly not European $6 for regular, but its a budget item.

Don’t forget the sexy Summer one named GLAu.

Still kicking myself for not buying a Defender 90 in 1996. Bought a Dodge Ram V-10 instead. Great truck and it served me well for 15 years. But I’ll bet the Defender would still be mine today if I’d gone that way. That $33k pricetag doesn’t seem quite as high in retrospect.
