I’ll own having stated a variation, and clarify that it was disputing prevalence rather than existence. There is a lot of everyone-there-is type statements being made, and the natural thought is “then why have I not seen more of it?”

So this isn’t a counterpoint, but an opportunity for a deeper look. Look at how the principal subjects in this photo are dressed. Classism is actually much more deeply seated in Boston than racism. Those things aren’t mutually exclusive of course. It’s just a big picture. BTW the victim in this photo thankfully…

I agree, this too frequently comes from an area where hey-our-police-just-killed-a-dude, but your the real racist because some loudmouth assholes said some vile stuff to a pro athlete. Both those things are racist, but one is definitely not like the other.
