Great stuff, as always. Keep it up.

If it had a B series swapped in there already, $4k would be defensible. Otherwise CP. If there’s minimal rust this would be a great candidate for a budget build. Throw a B16 in there and a few other goodies and have some fun. I miss those days.

Great cars for sure. I would love to get my car back like it was the day I sold it 5 years ago. Only had 76k miles on it too. Now I wish I just kept it, I only got a little over $5k for it anyway.

Another former MSP owner here.... I miss that car. I modded the crap out of mine and it was a lot of fun.

Another former MSP owner here.... in that very same Titanium Grey. Owned my car for over 6 years, modded the crap out of it. Full bolt ons, tune, suspension, etc.... Mine was completely trouble free up until developing an overheating problem towards the very end. Eventually moved on to a WRX and now a 335i. But man I

Is it wrong that I prefer Wangan Midnight to Initial D? Well, maybe not First Stage. But after that, for sure.

Great read! Israel is great place to visit, I did the Birthright thing a few years back and it was fantastic.

Meh..... I’d much rather have a nice EM1.

As soon as I saw the title, I knew.... ohhh the Motherland, I really miss you sometimes.

Same here. Love the R33s.

Well said LS240 ! For me, growing up with these cars, aesthetically this is the era that speaks most to me as well. Growing up in Russia on the 90s, I used to to drool over these cars, especially since I lived in smaller town and we didn’t have a whole lot of nice foreign cars. I remember my first school trip to

I like that dark blue - subdues some of craziness of the exterior a bit.

This happened about 17 years ago. The son of my dad’s best friend worked as a salesman at a Nissan dealer in VA. The lease on my dad’s Corolla was coming up in a few months, so he convinced my dad to lease a Sentra from them as his next car. They would take Corolla right away, and factor the money owed into the deal.

“factory-warrantied” - no. Dinan acts as a 3rd party warranty when it comes to their parts. BMW will not cover any real powertrain claims on cars with Dinan parts. And people still cite that the #1 reason they get Dinan parts is that they “don’t want to void the factory warranty.”
