ROBOT TURDS

Its not a weak argument. And if other Americans were not so hell-bent at shopping at WalMart and other big box stores we wouldn’t be in this situation. My appliances were made in Tennessee. My truck was made in Fremont CA ( its old ) our car was made in Alabama. Sure- a lot of our electronics were made in China. We

Ah yes. The ole’ “ Well the US did it too back in the 1800's so its ok if China does it now” argument. That’s stupid. And whenever I do buy something, I always try to buy from US companies first. And its not hard. All of my pots and pans, my knives, my drill bits, hammers, power tools, a lot of my clothing, two

Nope. I’m referring to for example- the approximate 2 million ethnic Uighur Muslims in China who have been forcefully removed from their homes, placed into camps, have had their children taken and put into schools to be taught to rid themselves of their identities. I’m talking about the slave labor being used to do

First of all, using the word “ shit” or “Shitty” 20 times in a response doesn’t make me feel compelled to want to take your response as seriously.

First of all- sure- there is definitely some shady things happening with labor in the US such as the use of underage kids in plants in the Hyundai plants. Is that great?

ND on the way these things look alone. I’ve always found these- even the new ones- to be pretty ugly. A big bulbous thing on wheels that happens to have a fancy name on the hood.

Fuck this clown. He is a puss-filled sore on America’s ass. If he had a heart attack today that would do us all a massive favor.

I have mixed feelings about this. On one hand this SHOULD be a wakeup call to western automakers to get their shit together and actually find the will and urgency to make competitive products. On the other hand I’m not exactly chomping at the bit to spend 10's of 1000's on something made in a country that actively

Maybe I’m easily impressed but we rented one a few years ago and it was pretty nice. Pretty peppy. I thought at first it had a V6 but it was actually a 4. Fit and finish was not too bad, it was comfortable, got reasonable fuel economy.

If you’re older like me then yeah, the 80's pretty much sucked in terms of average performance. Even cars that looked “ Sporty” were sometimes slow as molasses. I had a 1987 Celica and man was it slow. So slow that when I traded it for my basic, small, 4-banger Tacoma I smoked the tires pulling out of the lot because

My favorite thing he said was that he liked to take public transportation because sometimes people get into fights.

That thing looks like a redneck fever on wheels. Plus I never liked the jellybean era Mustangs. ND.

Luckily I live in California so there’s no rust. But in others areas these things turn into swiss cheese

Going on year 28 with my small 4-banger Tacoma with over 300,000k. At this point I get asked nearly weekly if its for sale. I bought it new off the lot after graduating high school. I could easily afford a new one if I wanted but I’d rather retire sooner.

My automatic reaction whenever hearing the words: Audi, BMW, Mercedes and VW is that its gonna’ be expensive, its gonna’ be fussy  and its gonna’ unreliable. And age won’t help. Sorry, I can’t see paying $25k for a mechanical ticking time bomb.

You stupid fuckers deserve to get your asses beat.

This decision seems incredibly short-sighted. One of the ONLY reason people were buying Teslas was because of the supercharger network. And now nobody is there to run the ship. He’s making the same mistake Jack Welch did with GE during the 80's when he cut the R&D departments, completely gutted RCA and as of now RCA

Holy shit. So now we’re talking luxury car pricing. For a mid sized truck. And we all know dealers will mark these up even more and there will always be a supply of dipshits who will pony up the cash. Guess I’ll keep on driving my old Tacoma. And I say this as someone who could easily afford one of these but won’t due

I think its more that if I were going to be nude I wouldn’t want to be nude on a nasty cruise ship since they are germ factories from all of the previous cruises.

I’m barely a democrat. I’m pretty moderate and might have been a Reagan-level Republican back in the day. Its just the GOP has gone so far to the other side.

Its interesting that most of my family are registered Republicans including my Dad. But he and a bunch of the others stopped voting for Republican presidential candidates as soon as Trump became the nominee in 2016. And for them its mind-boggling.
