passing on the right and cutting off faster moving vehicles is pretty much the majority of what I see on any given day so it sounds like the system is closer to the average human than the average robot.

Zoos can only do so much to keep idiots away from the animals. Even the most advanced zoos can’t keep out very determined morons. You have to balance access to the animals (so people can see them which is why they are there) and people’s safety, but some people... they’ll climb over all the barriers, jump over all the…
Wilkerson and his mother were bystanders who stepped in to save the woman who jumped the barrier.
The jaguar was only doing what is in its nature to do—strange animal/potential prey comes near, attack it.
Team Jaguar
“Idiot Exposed Herself to Angry Jaguar, Jaguar Behaves Appropriately.”
Those barriers are there for good reason assholes! It’s dumb enough to cross the barrier, but crossing the barrier and then turning your back on the animal (which further triggers a predator’s instincts) is colossally stupid. People who flout basic common sense to get better selfies deserve to be mauled.
It’s only polite to request the jaguar’s permission before taking a selfie.
Not at $18 per hour in the SF Bay Area level cost of living.
First off, why was were 24/7 shifts not done in the first place? That is idle overhead. I was under the impression they were running at close to full capacity.
I remember in 2014 shitty 1300-sqft houses in Dublin with no air conditioning that backed up to 680 were going for $700k.
Truth. Even companies like Intel have trouble hiring technicians because nobody can afford to move to the South Bay on a technician’s salary.
A few years ago, I was offered an engineering job at Tesla (specifically within their Quality Engineering group), decent salary, a sizeable stock bonus.
I never said I hated Tesla. In fact, my comment is more positive and defending of Tesla then it is against. People are acting like Musk should have gotten this all figured out by now, but really building cars is very difficult and yes they are the first manufacturer to try to really start up in decades.
I dont think 1200 union workers are going to move across the country for a non union job
The big issue is finding housing remotely close to Fremont. At assembly worker pay level $17-$19/hour, you are going to be doing some kind of shared housing... like 3-4 people in one apartment or you are going to be doing a 2-3 hour commute each way.
They weren’t already running 24/7?
...the hell you talking about?
Yup. An all digital future is looking real appealing right now.
