No, that was written by Crowe with serious nostalgia glasses and recreates every cliché in the rock book. Watch it again, it does not age well. Fast Times and Say Anything are his only decent movies.

No, OK and decent are different things to me. OK means 'not bad' but does not mean 'good'. Decent is a notch above OK which to me means 'good'. American Psycho is classic, Gladiator was good, Bamboozled is great, Castaway was decent, Cecil B. Demented was funny (What can I say, John Waters can do no wrong).
