I get to leave early today to drink on the company dime! The best kind of drinking is free-and-avoiding-work drinking.

Fuuuuck the health care system.
11:42 AM. My day's ok - at least it'll end early for a silly work awards happy hour.
I have my first interview (since I started looking for a new job) on Friday! Even if this one doesn't work out, it's nice to get some movement and not feel like I'm just repeatedly flinging my resume into the abyss that is the internet. Also, I saw the stage production of Dirty Dancing last night. It was ridiculous…
Sometimes, I feel like Pops Freshenmeyer isn't listening to me.
Does anyone else watch this on Amazon? I was sure they usually add the new episodes the same night they air, but I haven't seen this one added yet. I want to be one of the cool kids too!
Same here. I'm looking forward to catching up on it when it hits a non-CBS streaming service, but until then, I'll just continue to not watch the dozens of other shows I should be catching up on.
She doesn't even go here! (Except for the TI on Wednesdays.)
Thank goodness.
Watch it for Lindsay Lohan's career-best performance. Enjoy it for all the supporting characters who completely outshine her (esp Lizzy Caplan, Amy Poehler, Amanda Seyfried)
Intolerable.
Thanks. I've seen Royal Tenenbaums (a long time ago) and Fantastic Mr. Fox (very hungover). The parentheticals are why I think I should try again. The affectations in Tenenbaums were distracting to me the first time through, and I expect I'd enjoy it a lot more a second time. I do want to see Grand Budapest Hotel.
I'd like a Wes Anderson primer. Some of my friends are just nuts about him (one goes as an Anderson character every Halloween; one threw a GBH theme party for her 1-year-old) and, although I've seen a few of his movies, I've never really "gotten" it to that extent. I feel like I should watch/rewatch his movies - it's…
Ugh, that haircut. She must've run over the stylist's dog before she got that job. Only the fact that she's gorgeous aaaaaalmost makes it work. But not quite.
I find it hard to believe there are any original Jason Statham movies. I'm pretty sure he only stars in sequels…to movies that he starred in. And yes, they're all the same, and all imminently watchable on a Saturday afternoon when you don't want to get off the couch.
Definitely not the kooky crazy I associate with H.Q. (based on BtAS, which is my primary frame of reference for the character), but Alice has plenty of scary crazy going on there.
Actually, I think it's just Janine asking if she needs help and Dana asking Janine if it's the Ghostbusters' office, before Venkman jumps in (literally). Not exactly a meaningful interaction.
Dana and Janine talk to each other briefly when Dana comes to the office. Pass?
I rewatched the whole thing last month on Netflix. I do not regret it one bit and I discovered I didn't hate the 7th as much as I remembered (I mean, it's still terrible, but it wasn't as bad as I remembered). Honestly, I was surprised by how much I disliked in season 6. ASP really salted the earth during her…
Based on that description, I feel like I should love Jane the Virgin, but I'm still having trouble getting past the aggressively stupid premise and title.
