"You got your AV Club in my women!" "No, you got your women in my AV Club!"
"You got your AV Club in my women!" "No, you got your women in my AV Club!"
Ooh ooh me! I'm one! Do I get a trophy? I could really use a trophy.
I have such a hard time resisting the urge to clothesline those people.
The Cliche Killer - (alt. The Kliche Killer for that sweet Kardashian bump). Kills people in the most cliche ways possible based largely on my extensive reading of drawing room murder mysteries. Curio dagger in the back. Body in the library, done in by a candlestick. Faked suicide tipped off as murder by the gun being…
And Then There Was Nun
Crap, McGuckett does say "he" in the video. Would've been a fun parallel to Mabel and Dipper if Stan was chasing after his twin sister instead. Oh well.
Have Dipper and Mabel ever mentioned their grandparents? It could be Stan's twin brother (or sister - I don't think McGuckett used a personal pronoun) who is also the twins' grandparent. Could be a way to bring in their parents too. Pines Family Reunion!
"Lady Marmalade". Not gibberish, but French, which some might argue is worse.
I approve.
This involves at least five of my favorite things. I support it, AMC.

Ugh that's a horrible story. Wouldn't he be more of a mass murderer than serial killer? I understand I'm splitting really disturbing hairs here.
I'd add minimalist graphic design.
I'm gonna go buy some of Dan Akroyd's Crystal Skull vodka, for our office Ghostbusters viewing party on Friday. Has anyone had it? Is it worth it? The movie/booze synergy is almost too good to pass up regardless, but I don't like wasting money on bad vodka.
I'm a big fan of listening to audiobooks while I'm working around the house (cleaning, painting, laundry, etc) - anything that requires little brainwork on its own. I still will get distracted and miss a stretch, but I usually catch it the next time I listen. I also purposefully don't listen to really intricate or…
My funk continues and I can't seem to shake it off. I've been watching a LOT of Gilmore Girls on Netflix and I'm almost done (surprise Abed in Season 7!). Not sure what my next depression distraction will be.
Oh man, And Then There Were None is a great book, but somehow way spookier and more depressing as an audiobook. Death on the Nile is my favorite of David Suchet's. I'd recommend avoiding Joan Hickson's Miss Marple narration - all due respect, but she's got a pretty intense mouth-breathing thing going on.
Loving Serial. Do we know how many episodes there are this season?
I prefer lighter fare for my audiobooks, because I lose the thread often and the lighter stuff is easier to keep track of. My favorites are Terry Pratchett's Discworld novels and P.G. Wodehouse (specifically Jonathan Cecil). David Suchet has done some narration of Agatha Christie's Poirot novels and his voice is like…
