Trump-era policy actions are based on white supremacy, further enriching the rich, and undoing Obama-era legislation. I don’t even know if the order of those three are interchangeable anymore.

After Justice Scalia died during the Obama administration, the appointment should have been done by the sitting president. Mitch McConnell correctly read the way the election was going to go and delayed the hearing for a new justice for a year to get a replacement right leaning justice on the court.

I’m amazed there wasn’t more outrage about that. The move by McConnell to delay the hearing for a year is one of the most transparently unethical things I’ve ever had the displeasure of witnessing in congress.

Only if voters continue to be fucking idiots. The Supreme Court doesn’t make law, it interprets it. Don’t like a ruling they made? Make a new law.

It’s bad enough we have to live with Trump until the American people (or Congress) show him the door. But the fact that the GOP outright stole a seat on the Supreme Court is damage we’re going to have to live with for decades to come.
