Per Article I, Section 8 of the US Constitution, it is the responsibility of the United States Federal Government to regulate interstate commerce. Maintaining adequate infrastructure is paramount to that responsibility.

I actually kind of pity him more than I hate him. His insecurity, apparent memory issues and obvious emotional instability ( both of those last two items just scream Alzheimers, BTW ) should absolutely disqualify him from the presidency, but I can’t help but pity him as a person for having to live that way.

There has never ( not since the founding era, at least ) been a president so openly hostile to his predecessor or so focused on undoing anything with their predecessor’s fingerprints on it. It’s bizarre. It doesn’t even matter what it is that’s being undone. Nothing is too small, too insignificant, too petty.
For every $1 a NY citizen pays in taxes, the fed government spends <$1.00 in NY. They are explicitly not takers.
