Do they get that food for free, or do they buy it?
Do they get that food for free, or do they buy it?
The need comes from the salary ranges, there is a greater percentage of Southerners living below the poverty line, therefore there are more federal dollars spent in keeping the population afloat. Also, lower incomes and lower taxes in the state themselves require more federal intervention.
“To regulate Commerce with foreign Nations, and among the several States, and with the Indian Tribes;”
For the first two years they held Congress, which basically amounted to unfucking the economy and passing healthcare following a series of conservative compromises. From 2010 midterms on the tea party has demonstrated that ignoring compromise in favor of obstructing anything Democrat has a much higher political yield…
Per Article I, Section 8 of the US Constitution, it is the responsibility of the United States Federal Government to regulate interstate commerce. Maintaining adequate infrastructure is paramount to that responsibility.
The funny thing was since I was a moderate Republican, the rest of the Republicans in my area have determined that I’m actually a Liberal piece of shit.
Dude, The upper percentage of this country hasn’t been “penalized” for anything in decades. That and the GOP seems really hell-bent on giving them one handout after another for nothing other than that lobby organizations heavily spending on the GOP’s behalf for their representative monied interests.
“made his money” bankruptcy and failure to pay contractors. IE, con man. That’s how.
>How did Trump make his money?
Failing that, it’s time for Team Blue to join the call for a Constitutional Convention, so we can bail on this mess.
No. Read all the articles and books about him: he doesn’t get involved in details.
I actually kind of pity him more than I hate him. His insecurity, apparent memory issues and obvious emotional instability ( both of those last two items just scream Alzheimers, BTW ) should absolutely disqualify him from the presidency, but I can’t help but pity him as a person for having to live that way.
How did Trump make his money?
There has never ( not since the founding era, at least ) been a president so openly hostile to his predecessor or so focused on undoing anything with their predecessor’s fingerprints on it. It’s bizarre. It doesn’t even matter what it is that’s being undone. Nothing is too small, too insignificant, too petty.
For every $1 a NY citizen pays in taxes, the fed government spends <$1.00 in NY. They are explicitly not takers.
That chart is per capita.
I’ve been saying for a while that Trump is not a president, but and anti-president, since erasing anything bearing his predecessor’s name is the only thing he’s actually driven to do.
Do you REALLY want to pay the donor/moocher state game?
At first,I was looking at this like the no-brainer that it is,trying to figure out why he’s willing to throw a gazillion dollars at some stupid wall because of “campaign promises” vs. a very real and present issue in the form of this tunnel.
